Term 3 Newsletter 2007

Valhalla Newsletter Horse Logo What a busy school holiday we've just had. Our little house was full to bursting - not a bed left and barely a horse left over, and still people were on a waiting list for each week.

Despite the horse flu restrictions we were certainly able to fill the time - more time spent on lessons and jumping as we can't go off the property for 2 hour or full day rides. It appeared that everyone was happy with the change. We are very fortunate in our new staff member Sacha who is a qualified EFA Instructor (Equestrian Federation of Australia) and a great person - we are very happy to welcome here to our team.

We have been able to acquire the lease on the bush behind us so that our 1 hour trail rides can still continue and we are working on making new trails as we were getting rather bored with the same old ones. The 2nd week camp did some exploring and made a new track called the kangaroo trail and another called the "getting lost track" (it is somewhat doubtful if we can find it again).

Everyone both weeks did ever so well - yards have never been so clean and riding improved - results in this letter.
January school holidays are already being booked - so please book early to avoid disappointment.

The dates are
  • Jan 06th - 11th
  • Jan 13th - 18th
  • Jan 20th - 25th

If there are enough interested we can do a two day camp the last week in Nov 24th - 25th cost $200 p.p.
Lessons and trails rides are still available at all times - just ring and book.
